2024 marks our 11th year of welcoming guests to Park House

This spacious, Grade II listed holiday cottage in Harlaxton, close to Harlaxton Manor, is a short drive from both the centre of Grantham and the Vale of Belvoir.

Close to the Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire borders with easy access from the A1, Grantham is also just over an hour on the train direct from King's Cross and within an hour of East Midlands airport.

Park House comprises four spacious bedrooms (including ground floor facilities) and is perfect for up to 8 people, plus two infants and two dogs at no additional charge.

Perfect, whatever the occasion....

Bookings are welcome all year round, be it a family occasion, friends get together, local wedding, house hunting, short break, short let, holiday or corporate let, Christmas, New Year and Easter.

Located in an idyllic conservation village.....

Park House is just a short walk to Harlaxton's own fine dining pub, 'The Gregory', a village shop and post office, children's playground and sports field. The village has many grade II listed properties (we have a booklet for a walk around to see these) as well as the stunning sights of Harlaxton Manor.

Lovely local walks either with or without a four-legged friend!

Enjoy local walks in the grounds of Harlaxton Manor, around Harlaxton village, along the Grantham Canal and around the local Denton Reservoir, making Park House ideal for dogs to have a holiday too.

Two local National Trust properties and many more attractions.....

Visit Belvoir Castle and its Capability Brown Garden, Belton House (National Trust), Isaac Newton's Woolsthorpe Manor (National Trust), Rutland Water, Tallington Lakes, Burghley House, Grimsthorpe Castle, Lincoln's fabulous Cathedral & Castle and Twin Lakes Family Theme Park near Melton Mowbray. Plus many more local places of interest.

Ideal for fishing, golf, cycling and walking....

Local fishing at Belvoir Lakes and Woodland Waters (day tickets required). Several golf courses within 25 minute drive. Fantastic cycling and walking routes in the local vicinity and around the Belvoir Vale.

Close to local amenities.......

Explore the local market town of Grantham, which has the Meres Leisure Centre (swimming, rock climbing, badminton, tennis, table tennis and more), Savoy multiscreen cinema, Grantham Bowl ten pin bowling alley, Jump Revolution Trampoline Park, Fun Farm indoor play centre for youngsters or Alpha Wold Urban Axe Throwing. Have a takeaway delivered or eat out!

Great base to explore Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire..

Visit neighbouring towns of Newark, Melton Mowbray, Oakham and Stamford, the historical city of Lincoln, as well as Nottingham and its National Ice Rink, Peterborough and Leicester, including the National Space Centre and Richard III Exhibition.

The Gregory Arms pub in Harlaxton is just a short walk from Park House and is open 7 days a week (food seven days a week).

 

The Chequers in Woolsthorpe (above) is a popular local pub, as well as the Welby Arms in the next village of Denton and The Farrier (Brewer's Fayre) on Harlaxton Road .
